Susan Petersen, Licensed Massage Therapist

Massage Temps Northwest was founded by Susan Petersen when she realized the lack of qualified massage therapists in our area. She found that the schools only teach enough to get graduates ready to pass the state test. She has made it her mission to help mentor and train new therapists so that they are truly qualified health care specialists that can evaluate and implement a course of treatment.
Susan graduated from East West College for the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon with a specialty in Cranio Sacral Therapy. She has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2003 and has worked with Chiropractors, Naturopathic Physicians, Acupuncturists, Physical Therapists and Medical Physicians.
She began practicing in Canby with Dr. Jeff Hartwell, Acupuncturist Eric Strand, and Physical Therapist Carol Conrads. All were instrumental in the knowledge of the body that Susan possesses today. She was an independent Massage Therapist within the Absolute Salon and Barber in Charbonneau until 2004 when she moved her practice to Wilsonville.
Susan understands the pain of dysfunction in the body due to injury, surgery and overuse. She also knows first hand how much massage and body work can benefit the body and end pain cycles. She has suffered through bone surgery on her sacrum with a tail bone removable due to an injury, and two spinal fusion surgeries, the last in March of 2009. Susan is trained and experienced in all the modalities offered by Massage Temps NW.
Jacqulyn McDougal, Licensed Massage Therapist

Jacqulyn is an April 2008 graduate of Cambridge College. She as been with Massage Temps NW since November 2008.
She is one of our most qualified therapists and enjoys the interaction with clients she is helping lead full and active lives without restrictions or pain. Jacqulyn customizes massage therapy for each client based on their needs and concerns.
Jacqulyn’s areas of expertise are: Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release Therapy, Swedish Sports Massage Medical and Chair Massage.
Katie Amacher, Licensed Massage Therapist

Katie graduated from Pioneer Pacific College in January, 2009. She has been a practicing massage therapist a Massage Temps NW since August, 2009.
Katie chose massage therapy as her profession because she finds working one-on-one with clients rewarding and fulfilling. Her kind hearted nature makes her passionate about helping clients heal.
Katie’s areas of expertise are: Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage.
Irene O'Connor, Medical Intuitive and Reflexology
Irene provides medical intuition sessions for chronic and "unhealable" conditions as well as foot, facial and hand reflexology.
In the late 1980's Renee became aware that she had a sixth sense to assist friends and family to empower them to make health choices more attuned to their needs. Since 2007, Irene has offered clients from all walks of life methods to improve their health when they become open to treatments that complement allopathic medicine.
Irene , using quantum science scans and discerns what is occuring in your body and its various systems.
Jessica Bigham, Office Administrator
Jessica is the office girl at Massage Temps NW. She handles appointments, answering phones and filing.
Jessica is a Senior at Oregon City High School. She has been accepted to Blinn Junior College in Texas where she will be studying to become a paramedic with a minor in criminal justice.
